The picture makes me think the Angel is tired, resting taking a brief break from protecting those who can no longer protect themselves from Evil. It appears as if the Angel is in a distant place, filled with quiet enabling it to scream from the stress of continually saving the unsaved just because God said, "I will it so..."

the angel looks down...as if it had just lost a battle for something dear. its in a place to find the strength, peace and prepare for battles to come.
Ok, well here's what I think, I think this angel kissed a mortal and left his mark and had to confront God regarding his feeling for this beautiful creature...I have a poem written about it which I will post. It is a beautiful pic that tells a story

Truly is undescribable what artists can create.
For me, it looks like she has hidden herself in order to just be with herself. A life taking care of so many others can make you lose focus on who you really are.
when I look at this photo, I see pain. Not the type of pain that one would feel when they did something wrong, but the type of pain that a person would feel if something bad were done to them by someone they love deeply.
